Q. How many hours do you play?
A. We play from 8pm-12am with one break during the evening buffet.

Q. Where are you based and how far will you travel?
A. We are based in Central Scotland and will consider any nationwide location.

Q. How long does it take you to set up?
A. We can be set up and ready to play within 30 minutes.

Q. Do you offer daytime entertainment?
A. Yes, you can book us to perform at your ceremony and drinks reception.

Q. Do you offer a DJ set?
A. Yes, we can provide a DJ set 12-1am for an extra fee.

Q. Do you play music during your break?
A. We do provide music during the break. Alternatively you can provide us with your own chosen playlist.

Q. Can you perform a Ceilidh set?
A. Yes, we can perform up to 45mins of live ceilidh music. However, we most commonly perform between 20-30mins which is 3 or 4 dances. We highly recommend that you include the ceilidh set as it always goes down well. Our singer/guitarist swaps his guitar for an accordion for the duration of the ceilidh and all three band members share in calling the dances.

Q. Can we choose any song for our first dance?
A. Yes, as part of our service we will learn any song you wish for your first dance. Two weeks notice will give us time to learn it for you.

Q. How much do you cost?
A. Price is dependent on the date of your wedding and the location of your venue. Please contact our management team, Sitka Events via the BOOK ERNEST section of the website for a quote.

Q. Can I provisionally book the band?
A. Yes, we can hold the date for you for two weeks. However, should another couple enquire regarding the same date within this time we will give you first opportunity to confirm.

Q. How do I book?
A. Firstly, contact us to check we have your date available. You will then be given exclusive access to our CLIENTS AREA where you will find all details regarding securing your booking.

Q. Is there a booking contract?
A. Yes. All bookings are legally contracted and insured for your peace of mind.

Q. Can I book you via an agency?
A. We are only available to book directly via our management team, 29 Artist Management. Contact them now to check availability and get your best price quote.

Q. What happens if you have to cancel?
A. On the very rare occasion that we would have to cancel we will find an alternative band for you through our contacts at every major entertainment agency in the UK. If you book your band via an agency, in the event of a cancellation they would only be able to offer you the bands on their agency. We have access to every band in the country. We would also pay the full fee for any replacement. This is all guaranteed within the booking contract.

Q. Can I choose the set at my wedding?
A. We are more than happy to learn your first dance and a Father/Daughter dance. If you are fans of a particular genre of music or artist then do let us know and we will tailor the set accordingly. However, with years of experience in entertainment we feel we are best equipped to choose the bulk of the songs and the order in which we play them. This is partly what you are paying us for! However feel free to choose any songs you prefer from our repertoire, or indeed, any you don’t want!.

Q. My Uncle is a great singer; can he come up and sing a song?
A. No problem! We’re always up for a bit of fun.

Q. What time will you arrive on the day?
A. We will contact the venue prior to the wedding day to check arrangements regarding access and set-up times. Usually we will arrive at least an hour before we have to start. Most likely this will be 7pm.
